Today, He is Risen: A Collaborative Post
Featuring a poem and an original song!
Hi, everyone! I’m excited to share this project I’ve been working on with my kind and talented friend Corrie Bradbury, who I met at ministry school. Below is an Easter-themed poem I wrote, along with a beautiful song Corrie’s been creating about the resurrection, springtime, and Jesus redeeming everything. We hope you enjoy. He is risen!
Today, He is Risen I don’t know why a seed must die for a garden to spring. I don’t know why mourning is the mother of redemption. But today, we will sing, because our humble God has freed us from winter’s teeth. We will dance in the shadows, because we are no longer bound to ourselves, or the enemy. Jesus died, Jesus rose— And, one day, the whole world will gleam.

“Today, He is Risen (He’s Turning Our Winter into Spring)” by Corrie Bradbury
“Yes, God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him would not be lost but have eternal life.”
—John 3:16 (ERV)
