Leah I don’t know much about her, except that she was second-pick. Married because of a dark trick. Later, she cradled Judah, whose name means praise. The girl who didn’t turn heads held the face of King David’s forefather, the grandpa of Jesus. Did she sense the mighty legacy sprouting inside of her? Did she glimpse the promise, like a golden butterfly dancing past? Again, I don’t know, except that God chose Leah.
